      Add: Purchased during the year 11,500
      Less: Closing stock of Sports material (4,500)

      3. Calculation of Interest on investment:
      Investment as on 1.10.2017 = 70,000
      The investment will be calculated for 6 months i.e starting from 1.10.2017 to 31.3.2018
      For 6 months = 70,000 * 10% * 6/12
      = 3,500
      4. Calculation of Depreciation on furniture:
      Furniture as on 1.10.2017 = 20,000
      Depreciation on the furniture will be calculated for 6 months i.e starting from 1.10.2017 to 31.3.2018
      For 6 months = 20,000 * 10% * 6/12
